Yes...boys will be boys - they don't like to read as much as girls do!! It's harder to find the perfect read for them than it is for the girls in our classrooms. Of course, I am sure that it is because the majority of the books out there for middle-school aged students are pretty "girly."
I struggle, myself, with helping the boys in my classes find those just right books - but I will continue to work on it!
